TRAJEDİ
TRAJEDİ is an independent Anatolian rock/metal band formed by musicians who moonlight as software engineers, teachers, and engineers. They fuse centuries-old verses by the folk poet Karacaoğlan with hard riffs and melodic layers, reworking Anatolia's historical memory through a modern rock lens. The band is currently releasing singles one at a time from their upcoming nine-track album, 'Progresif.'

A Karacaoğlan poem: "When summer comes and the five months are born…" It reads like a highland folk song at first, but it tells of the exile of the Taşeli people after the fall of the Karamanid principality. TRAJEDİ reinterprets this centuries-old grief in E blues minor, built on five layered guitar tracks and a wide wall-of-sound texture.
